Glavine makes early exit

Tom Glavine left Sunday's game against the Nationals in the first inning with a sore hamstring. If Glavine has to take an extended leave of absence, it would mark his first time on the DL in his over 20 year career. But currently the southpaw is listed as day-to-day.

A trip to the DL would put a major crank in the Braves pitching rotation which is already missing Mike Hampton who is on the DL with a pectorial strain. The Braves recently sent a not so ready for Major League play Chuck James back to the Minors and no offense Jo-Jo Reyes, but I'm not ready for you to play in the big boys, my heart can't handle it.

But before I begin to panick again, there were some good signs for Glavine, he was able to simulate his pitching motion after being iced down three times and trainer Jeff Porter did not feel a tear when he checked out Glavine's hammy, so hopeful, Tommy can continue his DL-less career.
