Former Brave Ryan Klesko has officially retired, confirmed the 16 year vet's agent. Klesko spent eight years with the Braves before heading to San Diego where he recieved his only all-star trip in 2001. His final stop was in San Francisco where he compiled six homeruns and 44 RBIs in 2007.
News of his retirement were not shocking after the AJC reported in February he was leaning that way, however, I always enjoyed watching Ryan even when he was playing with the Padres, because I usually feel, once a Brave, always a Brave.
