Recap: Chuck James "was outstanding" according to manager Bobby Cox in his two scoreless innings for the Bravos but it was not enough as the Braves tied the Tigers 6-6 in 10 innings. The Braves struck first with Joe Borchard knocking in Javy Lopez before crossing the plate off of a Martin Prado single in the second inning. But Jo-Jo Reyes mid game turn on the mound was disastrous, Reyes was charged with five runs over his three innings, which allowed the Tigers to get back into the game eventually tying things up at 6 a piece in the eighth, a score that would last the over the final two innings.
Next Game: Friday, @ Phillies @ 1:05 PM/est
News & Notes: Even with his scoreless preformance on Thursday, it's very likely that Chuck James will start out the season in Richmond...Bobby Cox is deciding on which members of the team will start off in the bullpen come opening day...Martin Prado and Brad Lillbridge are competing for a utlity spot in the Majors this spring training.
It's been fun blogging with you,
