Braves 2, Nationals 2 (11 Innnings)

Recap: The Braves first night game of the spring ended up being a little longer than they hoped resulting in a 2-2 tie with the Nationals after 11 innings of back and forth play. Tom Glavine took the mound for the third time allowing only two hits in four innings and one unearned run while his Nationals counterpart John Patterson struck out three and allowed three hits but no runs in his three innings. The Braves knotted the score at 2 with a ninth inning two out, two run single by Joe Borchad, a score that would stand for the rest of the game.

Next Game: Wednesday, v. Indians @ 7:05 Pm/est

News & Notes: Rafael Soriano threw a bullpen session without any pain or discomfort and is hopeful to make his Grapefruit League debut against Detroit on Thursday...Mike Hampton will pitch a simulated game on Wednesday allowing Buddy Caryle to take the mound for the Braves in their game against the Indians...Adam Wainwright's preformance against the Braves has only added to the John Smoltz's amazement of the former Brave.
