Mike Hampton injured...again

This morning we brought you a list of articles on espn.com that featured Mike Hampton. Not five hours later and it seems Hampton's making news again, the kind of news that Braves fans have gotten pretty used to hearing. Hampton was forced to leave Friday's game against the Tigers early with a groin injury. Luckily, "the ailment is [not] believed to be serious" but it once again proves how fragile the hurler is. At this point he's listed at day to day but adding this to the right hamstring strain he sustained while pitching in Mexico and the left elbow issues, Mikey's doctor visits are rivaling that of an 87 year old senior citizen.

The good news of the day was that Chipper Jones was able to return to the lineup after sustaining a minor hamstring injury last week. Although, can an injury involving Chipper Jones at this point be considered minor?

It's been fun blogging with you,
