Braves 5, Tigers 4

Recap: Tom Glavine pitched through two clean innings before hitting a speed bump and maybe a couple of rumble strips during the third, throwing 31 pitches before heading out a with 2 2/3 innings under his belt. Luckily for him the Braves came out swinging in the fifth registering all five runs in that inning, but not before running into a prowerful Dontrell Willis who allowed only two hits and one walk while striking out three in the Braves 5-4 win.

Next game: Friday v. Detroit, 1:05 PM/est

News & Notes: While the Braves knew trading Edgar Renteria was good for the team as a whole, his former teammates were happy to hang out with him again on Thursday...The Braves are impressed with prospect cather/first baseman Tyler Flowers.

It's been fun blogging with you,
Kate
