Braves 3, Tigers 2

Recap: The Braves sure have been hot hot hot this spring training but Billy Martin always said he thought it was better if you didn't do that well during spring training, that it helped you in the regular season. Well I don't quite agree with that especially after the performance Tim Hudson had on Thursday in the Braves 3-2 victory. Hudson went six innings allowing only one unearned run while Chipper Jones smashed a ball over the fence in the fourth and added a double in the sixth to help secure the Braves win.

Quote of the Game: “I’m feeling good. The confidence is up. The body is healthy. I’m ready to go.” - Chipper Jones

Next Game: Friday, @ Indians, 1:05 PM/est

News & Notes: Josh Anderson is making his case loudly after knocking in the game winning run in the ninth inning...Jeff Francoeur went 0-3 in his first game since getting beaned in the face...With cuts expected to announced on Friday, it's looking like Jo-Jo Reyes will be sent down to the minors...MLB.com talks with Bobby Cox here.

It's been fun blogging with you,
Kate
